Hawaiian Maps:
Oʻahu and Maui

A map of the island of O`ahu that I augmented to show some of the points that are discussed in the Natalie Seachrist Hawaiian Mysteries...

Flaws...unfortunately a continuing writing experience…

To enhance your reading of some of my writing, I offer these humble renderings of maps to provide a sense of where some of the characters (and and actual people) I write about have lived. In the first four Natalie Seachrist Hawaiian Mysteries, my protagonist has lived on Oʻahu. But in the last book (Yen for Murder), her beloved Keʻoni and her twin Nathan have invested in a boat and are reaching out to Natalie to join in their adventures…so far without any positive results!

Auntie Caroline Kuliaikanu`ukapu Wilcox DeLima Farias was born on the island of Maui and did not move to Oʻahu until she was a young adult. Accordingly, six of the  seven oral history interviews I conducted with her were recorded in her Kāneʻohe home). The do however address topics involving family on both ot these islands and I was delighted that she was able to join my husband and me for an early morning visit to Mount Haleakalā as well as to a few of the Kīhei, Maui, gravesites of some of her family across the road from where their iconic Koa House once stood.
